My Man Stamps

Here's another of Kristina Werner's color challenges. When I first started stamping, I had stamps that were mainly floral, lacy, sweet, etc... Then, I realized I needed to make some cards for the gentlemen (hubby, dad, brother, etc...) in my life. Well, the set that I got is called Lovely as a Tree. I call these my "man stamps" (no, MY man doesn't stamp :-). Well, I use them for all kinds of cards, not just for men...I use these stamps more than any others I have. Anyway, here's the card. Let me know what you think.

Very pretty! I love how you created the sky with tearing the paper!

Trish, that is cool. As a man, with a bit of a creative side myself, I would have to say that I would like that stamp. :) Just don't tell Roger. He might start to think of me as a sissy.

I rarely "tear paper" anymore, but I really like the colors and the torn paper. It's a great card! I have this set, and just made a "man-card" using the alcohol technique with the orangy background. I framed it in black, and then put in on olive-green. I added a "happy bithday" on the bottom and 2 black eyelets with hemp tyed in between. It really turned out nice.
