Ah, yes! I love summertime because I get to read more for pleasure than I do during the "school" year. While my children share my love for a good book, I never find them reading for luxury during the summer. They would much rather be outside, which is good, but when it's TOO hot to be outside, I tend to find them in front of that nasty old tv. I couldn't tell you how many times a day I walk in and turn that sucker off. ARGH! Since summer is vacation, how can I encourage them to continue reading without simply saying, "Go read your book!" ???
I'm a wife and a home-schooling mom of 5. I'm a recovering chaotic that still has to make a conscious effort to keep on top of things...and is often on the edge of chaos. I enjoy making cards and paper crafts. I like to read, but it has to be a really good book. I read the last page and then go back and can enjoy it immensly. I need to know who's going to be alive at the end! I like being with my kids and playing board games with them. I like to watch them...they amaze me. I love God.

Oh, Yes, Yes, Yes! Perfect moments. I'm a self-confessed book-worm who enjoys seeing the love of books carry over to my boys! I'm swelling with ya!
