Well, I don't think I've stamped this much in years! But, Kristina Werner's blog has really inspired me. Here is another challenge she gave us. She found a picture of a bedroom in the Pier 1 catalog. The colors were pink, orange, purple, white, and black. My camera doesn't really do the colors justice. It's hard to tell, but the "for you" is on a strip of Pumpkin Pie. The ribbon is magenta organdy. The card base is Pixie Pink. Anyway, I think it's much prettier in person. The card template is a copy of her Make a Card Monday video. She does such a great job!
In other news...we got a new piano this weekend. It's so beautiful! We got a really good deal on a baby grand...it was once our church's piano. Zack has been taking for 7 years now...and the others are all following, so we gave away the old one and are so thrilled with the new one. I've been playing it too. What a blessing!
What else? The concrete for our garage was poured on Saturday. With all the rain, I've had the fun job of sweeping mud every hour :-( Not much else right now.

I'll admit that I am sometimes confused easily but I am going to ask anyway. What do you mean the concrete for your garage was poured...you had a garage already. I know I have been back to Siloam in a while but I distinctly remember a garage that led into your laundry room or kitchen area. You guys aren't building a new house are you?
Beautiful!! This design is up here for copying, right?! I may be at Suzanne's on Saturday, if my mouth isn't killing me. ;-) Pray for the good 'ole Tylenol to be effective.
Garage-- sorry, 'bout that! I saw hubby and kids working on it the other day, but wasn't sure what you had in mind...maybe a whole HOUSE just for your craftiness! Too good to be true, huh? And your LARGE double rooms are plenty anyway! (I'd be lucky to get a closet. Heh Heh.)
Okay, so I stamped for the first time at Suzanne's. I wouldn't say that I did a great job, but I really enjoyed it. I had a dream about the rolling stamps. Guess that means I really did have fun, huh? Now, to learn how to make beautiful cards........
Adelia, you dreamed about it?! WOW! I was intimidated. I've been accustomed to slapping a rat or bulldog picture down with some googly eyes, and calling it good. Doing color combinations and "playing by the rules," was all new to me. I like how my card turned out, but I was itching for some googly eyes for that butterfly!! ;-)
Oh, and Trish, I hope you start feeling 100% again soon!! We missed you!
